It's SO HOT!

The 40 (104F) is about what it is here almost all summer long, sometimes higher sometimes lower. As you said, we get used to it. We also use air-conditioning units to cool the house and stay inside when it's really hot.

I can understand how bad it must be for someone not used to it ... just remember it this winter when you are wishing it was warmer ... lol.

He he...yeah I will think about it in the winter when I'm freezing my ass off (and complaining about that instead). Good idea.
What, 40C in Sweden?? Here in Tokyo it's like 30C... But we have humidity on top of it, and we can have air-conditioning blasting away. Is air-conditioning not very popular? (This was a huge problem in France a few years ago when there was this heat wave and old people started to die, I remember)
Remember to take lots of water as well. You could actually get heat stroke even when you are indoors.
Yup. 40 degrees and a little more even. It sucked (it's a little cooler now, which I am very happy about).
Nope, most people in Sweden tend not to have air-conditioning, since it's not common for it to be this hot here. I think most people see it as a luxury thing actually (which it isn't, I don't think it's that expensive).
(Yeah it was really a huge problem that time. My friend actually works as a summer temp. with the elderly and she tells me that they really suffered in the heat).
Yep. I will remember that ^-^. Heat is a tricky thing.
